Rip! Shred! Tear! I loved taking out my frustrations with the computer and cats out by demolishing wallpaper in Talesia's bathroom. How delightful! We tag-teamed taking down the multitude of educational posters, then destroying a good portion of the wallpaper there. We couldn't devote the time we would have liked to it, but soon those walls will be nekkid, ready for painting.
Talesia's name means beautiful water, and she demonstrated just how much she chooses to live up to that. Our little fish discovered that with a little practice, she could swim the ENTIRE length of the medium-sized backyard pool at a friend's house, both above water and under it! Ok, she did have to come up for breath before making the length of the pool, just so she wouldn't make mom & dad look too bad.
The Sleep-Like-the-Dead fairy tapped Talesia on the head (with a sledgehammer, apparently) on the drive to another party. After our arrival, it took 2 lively kids playing hard around and on top of her to wake her. She got to swing on their very cool pirate ship playground in the back yard until darkness and rain stole upon us. Fireworks in the rain just didn't seem as fun as watching a movie on a larger screen, so undead pirates performed evil undead piraty things as kids played with glowy stuff till late in the night.
Hooray for friends and parties!
